The Southern Pinwheel Galaxy

The Southern Pinwheel Galaxy (M 83) is a barred spiral galaxy approximately 15 million light-years away in the constellation Hydra. This image was captured with the Celestron Edge HD 800 together with the ZWO ASI1600MC Cool colour camera. See @AstroCapetown for acquisition details.
