The observatory can be up and running within a few minutes and is controlled over Splashtop streamer (or TeamViewer) on my laptop (or desktop) computer from the comfort of my living room or from anywhere in the world. Proceedings are monitored using a security camera, which is mounted on the side of my house and looks down on the observatory.
Data is collected on the two Intel NUCs, which control the telescopes and uploaded to the cloud in real time ready for processing in the morning.
